Having clean water has changed my family’s life. My teacher reminds us often how blessed we are to have safe water to use for drinking and washing. World Vision has given our community hope.
Before our new wells were dug, my mother and I spent much of our day carrying dirty water from the lake. Now I can regularly go to school with the other children of Kasangombe Village. My mother has clean water to cook with and can now take time to make baskets to sell in the market.
Children like me are the most vulnerable to the diseases which clean water could prevent. Now our community has safe water to drink that is free of diseases. We can wash our bodies knowing we are not spreading any sickness. World Vision has given us good containers to store our water.
The community wells are easily accessible by the villagers of Kasangombe and now our crops and livestock can survive through the dry season. Access to water gives us new life. Will you help bring water to a village that needs your help?
