Justine Naiga

Working provided me with dignity, food, education for my children, and hope for our future.  None of this would have been possible without the small loan I was given from World Vision.

When I started my business of buying and selling second-hand clothes, I was not making a profit and could only purchase a few items to mend. No bank would give me the loan I needed to become successful. World Vision gave me the chance for a future I never thought possible.

World Vision came into my village and provided me and other women the collateral and finances to get my business off the ground.  I applied for my microloan of 100 dollars and when it was granted, World Vision provided me with coaching and a strategy to make sure my business and my family succeeded.

I started selling my products and began making a profit because I finally had enough collateral to expand. Other families in Kasangombe started carpentry shops, fruit stands, and livestock businesses.  Our businesses thrive as we support each other in the community!

It was a great day for my family when we repaid our loan. My business is growing, my family is healthy, and now I still work with World Vision and our Community Bank to gain resources and develop new skills. We are a self-sustaining family!

My loan is being given to someone else and is now changing more lives. Will you help change the lives of a family?
