Mary Kassala

As a nurse, I love to see children leave my clinic healthy. I am very sad when they do not. More and more children are surviving because of the help of World Vision and the medical supplies they provide.

Malaria once devastated Kasangombe Village. Now we have mosquito nets to cover our beds! Newborn babies are now getting the critical vaccines they need to survive infancy!

World Vision helped stock our health clinic with essential medical supplies, medicines, and resources to educate the people of our village. We are teaching the new mothers the importance of hygiene to protect their children from disease. It is fun to see the children play in the bubbles from their new soap.

Health education is a huge part of how we have changed the lives of the people of Kasangombe. Families now know how to prepare nutritious foods to fight dysentery and strengthen their immune systems.

Without World Vision's work in Kasangombe we would not have the medicines and tools to keep our village healthy. Will you help make a village healthy?
